Daniel Bernard

One of the very few "ecaillistes" working in France today, Daniel Bernard holds the secrets to an antique skill. He has a limited stock of tortoiseshell, allowed by the French Ministry of Culture, and each of his hand-made frames costs thousands of Euros. For his visual identity Yorgo decided to simplify the turtle to its most graphic form, allowing it to be stamped in minuscule sizes on the rare materials used by Daniel.
